Good EATS in Ottawa, ON, Canada-Part 1
Hello all!
There sure are a lot of good places to eat here in Ottawa! There are tonnes of different cuisines in the downtown area, and all of them are delicious! Over the past two week, I've had a lot to eat already, and look forward to more during my final week here in Ottawa. There are lots of people in the downtown area at this time of year, and there are so many little shops to intervene into. Here are a few places I went to-

Korea Garden Feast - 470 Rideau Street, (613) 789-5496, Ottawa, ON, Canada

We went to Korea Garden twice (which is located on 470 Rideau Street, Ottawa, ON, Canada). We chose the All you Can Eat Korean Bar-bq and Sushi option ($19.95/person for dinner and $15.99/person for lunch). The bar-bq was in the middle of the table and they served us the raw meats and vegetables to cook ourselves. I'd definitely go back in a heartbeat, and I actually did a couple days later. Continue down, and you'll see what I mean. It was really a great experience and most important of all, delicious! Below is a video on our feast in Ottawa!
Watch the video below of the Bar-bq
(Please excuse the poor camera quality, it's not very good, just my Canon SD1000 on movie mode that I bought too long ago. I need an upgrade on a good camera/camcorder. Do you have any suggestions? Nikon, Sanyo, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony???:/ Please leave comment if you do)

Instant Homemade Microwave Southeast Asian-Chinese Dinner
Right now, I'm in Ottawa staying at the dormitories of the University of Ottawa and unfortunately, there are no appliances in the dorm's kitchen except a microwave, a sink, and a fridge/freezer. It's sort of like in a hotel situation where I sort of have to eat out practically because the kitchen is quite incomplete. But I was hungry and it was late, and had only a few things in the fridge and freezer which were frozen chinese dumplings, cilantro, one egg, a packet of white vinegar, a packet of toasted sesame oil, a packet of chili sauce and a small packet of Kikkoman's soy sauce. But I ended up making a delicious dinner.

How to make: Japanese Chicken Curry Rice カレーライス- Shortcut Version
| My Easy Japanese Curry In a Hurry on Rice |
Japanese Curry
I love all types of curry. Who doesn't? But there are so many different types of curries, you've got the curries of different regions of India, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Singapore, Japanese, Chinese, United Kingdom.... the list goes on! Each one of these curries are so varied and so different, and yet, when you taste each curry from a different country, you will still know that you're eating some form of curry. I find that really amazing.

Good Chinese and Korean Food in Vancouver
24 Hour Feast in the Vancouver area.
Yesterday, I went to Vancouver for a feast! Greater Vancouver has awesome everything East Asian foods you can imagine! I usually go to Vancouver about once every two months. I took the ferry from Swartz Bay which serves Victoria, BC, Canada to Tsawassen, (Vancouver area). Lots of people going to Vancouver this weekend to watch the ALMIGHTY VANCOUVER CANUCKS HOCKEY GAME! YEAH!
So the first night we went for an 'All you Can Eat' Hot pot dinner in Richmond (there are tonnes of these AYCE Hot Pot restaurants in the area). It was $17.95 CAD/person, and there were three of us. Here's a video of the food, I think we ordered too much.
DAY 1- SUPPER
We got to choose two different soup bases, one was called 'Satay' even though it was practically like 10 kg of dried chillies and Szechuan peppercorns in water. It was SO SPICY, I practically choked when I just smelled it. The second one was not spicy at all, it was just a basic Chinese soup broth with some Sui Choy or Nappa Cabbage in English.
